THE VILLAGE AT PARK ROYAL
Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC
The Village at Park Royal, completed in September 2004, is located on an 18-acre parcel adjacent to West Vancouver's Park Royal Shopping Centre, and is Canada's first award-winning lifestyle centre. Weiler Smith Bowers provided structural engineer services for this Vancouver project.
This dynamic development is a complex of nine distinct buildings ranging in size from 9,600 to 72,000 sq.ft. The Village is pedestrian friendly featuring a "Main Street", front-of-store parking and wide landscaped sidewalks. The architecture of the Village is designed to honour the cultural history of the West coast and recall the turn of the century fishing villages that dotted the shores of BC's coastline.
